Op Art 2

No picture

This project looks really cool. I like the color scheme I chose and I like the design I did. It did take awhile because I made a lot of small areas, but it still looks really cool. I wouldn't change anything about this project. The small areas do make it more hard to color, but it's worth it if it looks nice. It's a fun project just to draw circles and lines then color them in and it makes art. I'm glad I'm ending this year with this project because I think this is one of my better projects.

Pop Art Sculture

Awww we are so cute! Seriously, this project is awesome! As a group we did really well together and those apps. look really good. You can tell what everything is. The apps. I did were the Facebook, Twitter, Temple Run, Draw Something, and the Safari one. I'm proud of the apps. I did and I think they look really good! This project was all around difficult and time consuming. The only thing I would change would be adding the button to the bottom to make it look more like an iPhone. Other than that it looks really nice and we even made it possible to move them around by adding velcro. We are such great thinkers!=)

Op Art 1

I love this piece! It turned out a lot better than I thought it was going to be. I'm so happy I did this the way I did because it looks like the three things are going into the circle and the checkers on it really get you. I don't think I would chnage anything about this project. Maybe one thing and that would be the biggest circle on the bottom right side it's a little flat and it bugs me. However, everything else is good! The hardest part of this project was coloring with those stinky markers. Ewww!=P It was also hard finding a good marker to color with. The design wasn't easy to think of either, but it eventually came to me. Overall, I really like this project and I think I really just like Op Art.

Magazine Reflection

I feel pretty good about this project. It was hard to get the pieces right and have them in the right spots. I think overall I did pretty good on it. The nose was the hardest part because it was straight on. The picture I chose also had a lot of shading and that part was difficult to do. I'm not sure that I would change anything except the fact that it is a little tilted. My favorite part is the lips because I think they actually look like lips. The part I don't like is the shading of the stick in her mouth onto her face. It looks like she has a mustache of some kind and I don't like it. Other than that everything else looks good!=)

Water Color

I really like this project. When I was coming up with what to do, I wanted to do cherries, but I also wanted to do ladybugs. I decided to do both and I think it worked out. Water colors are very hard to work with, but I think I did alright with them. When I was little I would always use water colors, but it seemed a lot easier to use back then than now. I still really like the last one the best. The cherry part looks really good. However, I like the first lady bug, the yellow one. It was the last one I did and I finally got the hang of drying then putting the dots on. The overall hardest part was when I would paint and then the color would bleed out. It was actually quiet frustrating, but I finally worked it out and it turned out alright.

Skeleton Drawing

I think this is one of my better drawings. I feel very proud of it and find it very successful. The one on the left is very very good and I wouldn't change anything about it. The skeleton drawing was very hard to do. I think parts of it look good, but then other parts look weird. For example, the ribs look like they are connected to the arm and the arm looks like it is connected to the neck. I do think the shading and the colors do look good and it does look like a real lion! Rawr!!

Cell Animation

I think this is one of my better projects. I think they are so cute and they took a long time to finish too. I feel very successful of these project because they do look like they could be little animations in a little show! The two little love bears!! I think a lot of things worked with this project like the characters and the little fireworks in the background. However, what didn't work was the white space in the background. If I could change anything I would definetly put more colors to the background along with the fireworks. The most difficult part was the painting to make sure there weren't any blochy spots. I also put the fireworks in the wrong spots, but I used my imagination and fixed the problem!! I learned how to create an animation with characters and backgrounds.

Text Collage

I think this art is decent. It's not the best I have done, but it's good. I think it's successful because it doesn't look terrible. I think the color part worked. One could see the letters I put by the colors, therefore it worked. What I didn't think worked about this project was the background on the right side. I like the newspaper part of it, but I don't like the magazine part with it. I would change the background by making it all with newspaper and would of made the words a little smaller on the left. The most difficult part was finding all the words in the right color. This project also took a lot of time to complete, which was hard to deal with. I learned how to make a picture with words. It's an interesting concept to think I made this imagine with words I found.

Text Art 2

I think this project looks cool with all the different letters connected and all the different types. I think it's successful because it looks interesting and fun. It has all the different shapes and different part of letters. It just makes the project come together. What worked was all the different parts coming together to make something else. What I think didn't work was how I can tell which letters are which. What I would have changed was maybe put more letters on their to combine with to make it look different and not noticeable of the letters. The most difficult part of this project was the painting, just like the last project. Another difficult part was picking the letters because I didn't want to repeat any. I learned how to combine the different letters to make something new.

Text Art 1

I think this project is good. It isn't great, but it's good. I feel successful of this project because it looks cool and has all the requirements. What I believed worked was the negative and positive. I think the black and white looks cool and brings attention to this project. What didn't work was the zooming in of the letters. I should have zoomed in more on the letter, but for some reason it just didn't look right to me. I would probably zoom in a little more and make the letters thicker. The most difficult part of this project was painting with the black. Getting close to the edge was hard because sometimes you would get over the line and have to fix it, so it didn't look the way you wanted it to. I learned the positive and negative part of a drawing. They don't have to be the same amount. For example, the negative can be the background color or the lettering color and it doesn't matter which.

Art Career

The art career that interests me most is photography. I'm not the best at drawing and I'm decent with computers, so I think photography would be the art career for me. When I look at a magazine, I always look at the pictures. Not many people like to read, so if I took pictures I would know my art is being noticed. Photographers also make pretty good salaries. An average yearly salary of a photographer is $42,000. However, to make that much money I would have to go to college for about 3 and half years to become a professional.

My job duties would be to take the pictures, set the scene up for the picture, pick what or who I want in the picture, and the picture I want with the effects I want with it. However, I wouldn't be doing this alone. I would have make-up artists and hair artists. I would also have people helping get the images with a computer and people working the different parts that a photo shoot needs. I would also need an assistant to help me stay organized.

After reseraching about this job, it could be a job possibility. They make good money and most of the time I can do what I want with a shot. I'm basically my own boss and I can tell other people what to do. Of course I would be nice about telling people what to do, but it would be nice taking very few orders from someone else.

Still Life Drawing

I don't think it's one of my best drawings now that I have done other ones. Some parts of it I like and other parts I don't. I feel kind of successful, but not a lot. Some of the shading looks really good, but then some of the drawings don't look quite right. I think the shading worked pretty well, but some of the items don't look right. The cup looks to small and the volleyball looks a little off. I would make the items more proportionate to each other. The most difficult part of this project was probably the shading and trying to figure out where to shade, how much, and how dark to shade it. It was difficult because you had to look closely to where the light was hitting and where the shadowing was. I learned how to make objects look bigger when closer and smaller when farther away and where to shade from where the light is coming.

Doodle Drawing

My overall thoughts on this is it's really cool looking. I like some parts more than others, but it is a really interesting project. I feel pretty successful because I had all the requirements first off and it just looks cool with all the different designs. This project was probably one of the most fun ones we have done. What worked about this project was the pinwheel, the swirls, the patches, and the stretched checker board. What didn't work as well were the bricks and waves I thought. If I did this over again, I'm not sure if I would make any changes. Maybe just of the bricks and how I did those, but that's about it. The most difficult part of this project was coming up with the original designs and figuring out where to put all the designs. It was just hard because I had to be really creative to come up the designs and it just took a lot to do. I learned how to make the designs and how to make it come altogether.

One-Point Perspective Name

I like this project. I like how my name looks and how the colors are. It just looks really amazing how the name looks like it's coming out of the paper. I feel successful with this project because the point of this was to make the name look like it was popping out and thats what it looks like to me.What worked for this project was how it pops out. What didn't work was maybe the spacing between the letters. If I had do this again I would probably make the spacing even between the letters. The most difficult part of this project was making sure I had the lines going to the vanishing point. The letter "S" was the hardest letter to do, but really my whole name is long and it took awhile to complete. I think that's why it was so hard because my name is just really long. I learned how to make the letters come out and that they had to go to the vanishing point to make that happen.

One-Point Perspective Hallway

My overall thoughts of this drawing is that I really like it! It's so colorful and fun. It looks like something I would make and that's why I like it so much! I feel so successful because it goes in like a hallway and it's really bright and fun. What worked about this was how it goes in like a real hallway. It looks like I'm looking into a hallway. It also is colorful and original. I think the only thing that doesn't work are the doors. The shapes just look a little odd to me. I don't think I would change anything. I like this project just the way it is. The most difficult part of the project was getting the things on the wall at the correct angle. Getting it going down the hall and making it smaller and having the lines going to the vanishing point was difficult. I don't quite know why it was so hard, but it just was. I did learn how to make a hallway and make it going in like one would be walking down it. I also learned how to make the objects on the walls to look as if they were going down too.

Two-Point Perspective Drawing

I don't like this project. It doesn't look two-dimensional. I don't feel that successful because it doesnt look two-dimensional. The design of it is okay, but I didn't pull the building back to make it pop out. That's what didn't work for me; not pulling the building back. I think it's already obvious what I would change and that would be to pull the building back to make it have that two-dimensional effect. The most difficult part was to get the building at it's angles. It was hard because when I did pull it make it didn't look right, so I kept changing it. I learned to now pull it back to give it that two-dimensional look.

Color Wheel

I think my color wheel is original. I did some different designs and one can tell the different sections of the colors. I think i also did well at making it go lighter as it went in. I think it's successful because I did a unique design and the colors and fading of the colors look good. What worked was the colors and the fading of the colors. However, what didn't work was some of the colors went into the next part. The changes I would make would be to be more careful when I painted so I didn't overlap into the next color. The most difficult part of this was making the right colors and making them fade as it went in. It was difficult because I had to make the colors by mixing the other colors and fading it was hard because I had to make sure the colors were getting lighter as I went in. I learned how to make the different colors and how to fade them.
